The long-awaited construction of the trail section from the intersections of Loucks Mill Road and RT 30 in Springettsbury Township to Hamilton Avenue and North George Street in the City of York began on Monday, July 9. Red flags now mark the project area, and Kinsley Construction has mobilized equipment to the site.

  1. If the rail trail construction is being done on the west side of the creek why are we closing the parking lot at route 30?

    • There is construction in that parking lot to take the users to the other side via the rt 30 bridge’s existing pedestrian walkway.
