York County Rail Trail Authority is seeking candidates to fill one opening on the Authority. If interested, we ask that a letter of interest and brief resume be emailed or mailed to our office by September 1, 2017. The Authority’s executive committee will meet later in September to review all resumes and conduct informal interviews. All interested persons will be notified by October 1, 2017 as to when a recommendation will be made to the York County Board of Commissioners, who in turn will make the appointment.
1. Obligations: Appointments are for a term of five years. Responsibilities include:
(1) Participation in monthly business meetings held the 2nd Tuesday of each month, 7-8:30 PM at the YCRTA offices in Seven Valleys, PA (May-July meetings travel around the county.) 2017 meeting schedule is available on the Authority’s website.
(2) Service on one standing or ad hoc committee.
