As MetEd continues to make improvements to its maintenance facility located along the Hanover Trolley Trail near Barnhart Drive, Penn Twp, the trail will be temporarily closed to all trail users from 7 AM-2 PM on Monday, July 31, 2023.
As this project continues throughout the summer, visitors to the Hanover Trolley Trail’s Penn Township section will experience temporary lane restrictions and trail closures as Met-Ed, a First Energy company, completes several upgrades to their electric infrastructure near Barnhart Drive. At all times, trail visitors are to observe posted signs, restrictions, and barricades.
